Today’s Tip:

In the middle of the Holidays, you just might find your energy dipping and you may feel tempted to push through the fatigue.  A better idea is to find a way to manage your energy. A low energy vibration attracts arguments, accidents, frustration, and poor results. Boost your energy vibration higher to bring all the good “stuff” of life to you and keep it high with these four actions:

1. Practice excellent self-care. Keep your appointment  for a massage or facial. Rest when you can. Say “no” to too many extra commitments. Move your body. Breathe deeply. Hydrate. And take your vitamins.

2. Maintain your spiritual connection every day. Even a 5 minute prayer/meditation session will help. Read a few minutes every day from a book that is meaningful. Light candles.

3. Stay out of the place of worry and frustration by bringing your focus to the present. If you are eating a cookie, really enjoy the flavor and texture. If you are waiting in line, appreciate the extra time that you have to check email, send texts, or read positive quotes (I always read positive quotes when I am waiting). There are many phone apps that offer positive quotes.

4. Use positive language when you speak about yourself and others. Laugh often. Smile. Make eye contact when you are talking.

If you use these steps, you will feel energized.

How to Achieve Long Term Success

Oftentimes, when we think about success, we look at one goal at a time. For instance, a goal might be to complete a degree, finish a book, and/or landing a new job. Today, let’s look at long term, sustainable success. You can probably think about someone (maybe even yourself) who demonstrates long term success. What makes him or her special? There are a few key pieces that anyone can implement to ensure long term success.

The first key piece is having a long term success mindset. You must see yourself as a person capable of long term success. Use affirmations, visualization, and positive thinking to embrace the long term success mindset. Get a coach or join a mastermind. Everything first begins with your mindset.

The next element is consistency. If you want long term success, you must consistently perform. This means that if you have a business, you need to send out your newsletter, hold your events, and reach out to clients regularly. If you work in a job, you need to consistently complete projects on time.

Persistence is also vital to long term success. You cannot give up. You need to make up your mind that you will do and learn what it takes to achieve long term success.

You need to break out of holding patterns (get unstuck) to achieve long term success. Successful people do get stuck, but they only stay stuck for short periods of time. Take a moment to assess whether or not you are engaging in a holding pattern (avoidance, procrastinating, holding back, not being all in, etc).

If you have created a bucket list, get it out and see where you stand. Make changes and/or add to the list. Start on one item. (Learning to golf was still on my list- so I started). When I look at my bucket list, it looks like I will achieve the remaining items on my list this year. So, I will need to make a new list. I remember when I first created the list, I thought there was no way I would really do all of it. I really was stretching when I created it. I am so thankful that I stretched myself those few years ago.

And, I am 100% confident in your capability to achieve long term success through stretching yourself, too.

Transcend Old Stories with this Simple Method


Feeling stuck with some limiting beliefs or “old stories” playing around in your head?

You can transcend old stories by using a very simple, yet effective method-  an affirmation:

Close your eyes- put your hand over your heart, take a few deep breathes.

Say “ I am now completely free of all of my old stories. I am transcending them now. I am moving to a higher level of consciousness. I am free now from any limiting beliefs, any old stories that I am consciously aware of and any that are below the surface on the unconscious level. I am completely free right now.”

Did you shift? Use that new sense of freedom to step into action.  Move into action. It is okay to try things and everything does not have to be perfect. You are not going to have a great inspired life if you don’t get out there and act on your inspiration.

Today’s Coaching Tip: Create Your Own Success Rituals

Every successful person has created rituals to stay on track. Examples of some of my rituals are:

  • Writing in my journal every morning
  • Lighting candles to celebrate the day- every time I light a candle- I have a short prayer that I say or think to myself.
  • Using specific affirmations every day.
  • Touching Pomegranate oil to my forehead to bless the day.
  • Keeping a stone in my pocket or handbag- every time I touch it- I say “thank you”

These are just a few examples, I have many that I use. The point about the rituals – is that it is a way to remember to keep your mindset and your heart focused on your goals, your happiness, your success.  Today, I have included as your free gift- a worksheet to help you create your own success rituals.christmas_holidays_season_268255_m
