The most successful people have rituals to keep them focused. Why? Because distraction is a killer. Distraction kills ideas and motivation.
Being able to focus your mind and your attention creates a mindful and deliberate way of living. A ritual could be a morning run followed by a cup of orange juice, a journaling session with candles, a series of stretches, etc.
I find the most effective rituals combine mind, body and spirit stimulation.
Create or tweak your ritual. The key is that your ritual is meaningful. If your ritual has become a habit that you can do without much thought- consider making a change.
Create a ritual that helps you be fully present for your day and one that creates a positive expectancy for the day.
I start every day by writing in my journal. I have a very specific approach to journaling. I write an appreciation list, a manifestation list, and then include an intuitive session where I wait and listen for intuitive guidance – then I write down what is revealed to me. I also use holy oil, candles, music, and incense during my process. This approach has allowed me to experience every day happiness and maintain a sense of peace and balance.
