Day 2 Jump Start your New Year

Welcome to January’s 7 Day Jump Start (you can use this Jump Start anytime you feel like you need to get back on track and find the lightness and happiness in your life- it doesn’t have to be at the start of the New Year). Each Day – I will feature a jump start tip/activity/exercise to help you really get your energy moving and bring you closer to your goals. Today we are on Day 2- you can still look at yesterday’s blog and start with Day 1.


Day 2 Jump Start Your New Year.

Declutter and clean. Pick one area (just one) of your home or office and/or clean out and organize your wallet/handbag/travel bag/briefcase. The area that you choose in your home or office could be a closet, a cupboard, a shelf, a drawer, or a corner of a room- it does not need to be a large area.  File  important papers and receipts. Throw out or donate what you are not using. Repair anything that is not in perfect working order. Make it sparkle. Make sure that the space you create is attractive and pleasing to you.

This may seem like a simple task- but it is very soothing and and, at the same time, stimulating to your energy level. Our 7 day jump start goal is to shift your energy and shake up anything stagnant. When you shake up stagnant energy- you also free up your creativity.

Notice how you feel when you complete the Day 2 task?

    Great tips I took the time to clean up, throwing out paper and making room in the closet this weekend. Now there is clear space 😉 Cleaning was break time. Lol

  2. I agree, Sheri, it is both soothing and stimulating to tidy an area of our home. It’s like a weight lifted off our shoulders when we declutter an area we use a lot. Thank you for the tips.
