It’s not about the actions that you take but the energy (vibration) behind those actions.

My guest blogger today is Hemal Radia- he is a presenter for my upcoming  free Your Path to Success Telesummit.

It’s not about the actions that you take but the energy (vibration) behind those actions. It’s not about what you do, but your thoughts and congruency and alignment about what you do. You can take less actions and get great results, or you can take all the actions in the world and it not quite be how you want it. The factor is the thoughts about (and behind) your actions.

This is why some people can eat what they like, exercise very little and still have wonderful bodies, whereas others will “toil” and “strain” and have to “work hard” for it.  It is also the same when it comes to money or business, where some people will take certain actions – or even none – and it will work out for them whereas others will do everything they can and do not get there in the same way or the journey is a bit more “difficult”.

So whilst actions are to be commended, there is also another component as well as the actions which is an energetic component or a vibrational component.

It is about the energetic or vibrational component
That is down to your thoughts about what you are wanting.  It is about your alignment.  How do you feel about what you want?  The better you feel about what you want, the more in alignment you are with it.

In the example above about having a wonderful body, some would say it is about the beliefs a person has and that causes chemical reactions within the body, whether when they eat or when they exercise.  The answer is it is all the same thing.  Beliefs are clusters of thought – and thought is vibration.  Beliefs can be thought of as collective clusters of vibration so to speak and we can answer this with physiological terms or metaphysical terms, it is all the same and fits together.  You change your thoughts and practice beliefs by practicing the thoughts you want to have.

Your beliefs – which can be seen as “practiced thought”, and nothing more mystical and magical and “unchangeable” than that – only came into existence by practice (whether deliberately or accidentally) and in fusing with emotion, which can add a bit of “glue” to it so to speak in adding importance to them, e.g. you tend to pay attention to things with love, joy or fear rather than something that has no emotion to it – and because of the emotion they tend to be given a bit more emphasis than that which doesn’t.  Which is why when you want to create positive experiences, the more natural positive emotion the better, it adds intensity, permeability and “emphasis” to it.  Your beliefs are very changeable and it is about practicing thinking things that feel good, and this is also how you create constructive and EMPOWERING beliefs that support you in what you do and ADD emphasis and energy to what you do.

Your beliefs are very changeable and it is about practicing things that feel good
But it shouldn’t be hard work, think about the things that naturally feel good to you, allow yourself to do that.  Oftentimes we don’t allow ourselves to think of what we want or like because we are scared we cannot have it or it is not ok.  Let me tell you, in the domain of your own head you can think what you like!  And soon enough your reality will change and YOU can tell others how it is, you will shape your reality by your practiced thoughts (and you don’t have to tell anyone how you did it if you don’t want to, just our secret ;) )

This also applies to interpersonal communications.  It isn’t really about the “words” you use, but again about the vibrational or energetic component BEHIND those words.  Sometimes you may not necessarily say the “right” things but because of your vibrational alignment you will get results.  And at other times you may be “trying” to say things a certain way and in your trying too hard there is an element of lack and that is being picked up in your vibration.

So to put it very simply, how do you feel about what you want?  The better you feel, the more in alignment you are with it.  And then it may not even be about the actions that you take, it may be that the actions are inspired or it may be that as a result of synchronicities that what you want lands right in your lap – and either way it is ok, the Universe is doing what it does in bringing vibrational matches together.

Open Your Heart For the Holidays guest article by Marci Shimoff

I just had to share an article from Marci Shimoff’s ezine. Marci is my featured guest presenter on my upcoming Your Path to Success Winter Telesummit: A New Year: A New YOU Jan 10- Jan 21, 2011. Marci is also releasing her newest book: Love For No Reason in January 2011. Enjoy:

From Marci Shimoff:

The holiday season is considered the season of love. But the question is, Are you feeling it?

Though it’s the time when we gather with friends and family, put our attention on giving, and donate our time or money to those in need, it can also be a season of high stress.

Every year, I go into this season with mixed feelings. While I love the spirit of openness, love, and giving, I also feel the pressures of the season. Right now, in particular, I feel the sadness of missing my friends who passed away this year and certainly missing my parents.

So how can you and I experience the upcoming weeks with love? By consciously opening our hearts — an open heart is truly the way to experience the juiciness and joy of this season.

I’ve been so fortunate to have spent the past two years interviewing 150 Love Luminaries for my upcoming book, Love for No Reason. I’ve seen how they keep their hearts open in all circumstances and seasons. (You’ll hear much more about the exciting launch of the book in the next few weeks.) From these interviews and additional research, I’ve discovered some great tools for living with unconditional love, which I share in the book.

In the meantime, here are a few tips to help you keep your heart open during this holiday season:
1. Let Love In. Receiving from others is an act of love and connection that opens your heart — and benefits your body. Research shows that when you receive, your levels of serotonin, the neurotransmitter of well-being and happiness, rise just as much as when you give. When someone offers you a gift — whether in the form of a present, a compliment, or some assistance — graciously receive it. Smile and say thank you, while letting their loving intention sink deeply into your heart. Truly register and savor the feeling of appreciation.

2. Anchor Yourself in Safety. Feeling stressed, unsupported, or fearful essentially takes love off-line. It’s impossible to activate the physiology of unconditional love when you’re experiencing stress and your body is in fight or flight. To quickly switch out of stress mode, take a few deep breaths and consciously relax your pelvic floor, located at the base of your body. This kick-starts your parasympathetic system and sets the stage for what mind/body health expert Dr. Eva Selhub calls your body’s “love response.”

3. Plug into a Larger Heart. Love thrives when we feel at peace inside. During the hectic holiday time, recharge your spiritual batteries by investing even just a little time each day in silence, meditation, or prayer. Tapping into this inner wellspring of spirit connects you to the energy of unconditional love and boosts your capacity to experience Love for No Reason by a factor of infinity. (It also helps you stay centered when dealing with any challenging family members-if you happen to have any of those.)

May your holidays be filled with the gifts of an open heart and the true spirit of the season.

With love for no reason and every reason,

Marci Shimoff

How to be a Great Telesummit Guest Presenter

How to be a Great Telesummit Guest

I decided to write this blog because I am nearing the last few days of the Summer Success Summit and I have been receiving many emails and inquiries regarding future guest presenter options. I regularly feature top experts and best selling authors on my transformative Your Path to Success Summit series. Sometimes I work with experts who have never participated in a virtual event. I thought I would share information with you on how to be a great telesummit guest.

If you have a message, a product, a book and/or are an expert in your field, participating in a telesummit, is a great way to get your message out and possibly you will even make some money in the process.

A telesummit is a teleconference or webinar event where the host brings together expert interviews over a series of days and sometimes even weeks or months. Attendees have the advantage of signing up once and being able to access experts with a certain theme (e.g, success, marketing, joy, etc). Many times (possibly most of the time) the event is free, but upgrade packages are offered.  If a product is offered, presenters usually have the opportunity to earn affiliate commission on the product. Telesummits are powerful for attendees, hosts, and guest presenters. They are usually win/win for everyone.

If you decide that you want to be a guest presenter on a telesummit, I have some suggestions on how to make it a great experience for you, your host, and attendees. You want to be asked back or be asked to present at other events.

Providing Information

When you first receive your invitation, then upon your acceptance, your confirmation email from the host: be cognizant of all of the information that you need to provide and the due date deadlines.  You will at a minimum, need to provide a pic, a bio, and a topic. You may also be asked for your paypal email or an address to send an affiliate check. If an affiliate opportunity is available- you may have to sign up for this yourself- or your host might take care of setting up your affiliate id for you. (I take care of this for all of my guests).  You may also be given the opportunity to submit questions for the host. (This is a great opportunity for you to make sure that you cover all of your points in your presentation).  You may be asked to provide a bonus offer or free offer for attendees (put some thought into this- this is one of your main ways to build your list, sell your products/services and build a strong presence). You also need a quick easy way to deliver your offer (usually a download from a landing page). The host may ask you for your twitter id so she or he can include this in promos.  Each summit is slightly different, so there could be additional requests.

Meet all deadlines.

Promoting the Event

You also will receive marketing material from the host- a sample email and/or sample social media promos/newsletter blurbs, your affiliate link etc.  As a good guest presenter, you should promote the event. The host will heavily promote and the most successful guest presenters , also heavily promote the event. The more you promote- the more affiliate commission you will make and the more attendees you will have on your live call. It is helpful to let your host know when you are promoting (e.g. when your mailing is going out, when you are posting on twitter, fb, etc). Hosts love getting these kinds of emails.

Promote other guest presenters to help create synergy. Tweet. Blog, or facebook about other guests.

Communication

Realize that your host may get a couple hundred to a couple thousand emails a day, so if you have a question, keep your emails short and to the point (bullets help). Be sure to reference your event in the subject line. Don’t dramatically change your presentation right before the summit- stick to the plan. Respond to email questions from the host in a timely manner. Realize that only the most grave emergency is an acceptable reason to cancel your participation after the summit page is up and public.

Your Presentation Day

  • Dial in to the Summit when your host asks you to (usually anywhere from five to ten minutes early).
  • Call in from a fully charged phone or landline.
  • Be fully present for your presentation (avoid any distractions- such as email, social media, etc).
  • Be prepared for the unexpected. These are live events- there could be technical difficulties. This is where you need to go with the flow.
  • When speaking, take breaths and pause occasionally- in case the host wants to jump in and ask a question to expand on the point or topic.
  • Avoid tangents.
  • There may be an opportunity to answer questions from attendees.  It is okay to pause and think before answering.
  • Keep in mind that during telesummit, events attendees may jump on the call anywhere from fifteen minutes ahead of time and then throughout the call- most are on the line by about ten to fifteen minutes after starting time. When you are presenting- avoid prolonged exercises that might confuse people if they call in during the middle.
  • Note: on some conferences- the recording will time out after a minute of silence.
  • Be authentically who you are.
  • Have fun.

After the Summit

  • Follow up on emails from new prospects right away.
  • Give the host feedback and thank the host.
  • Debrief your own presentation: Acknowledge what went well and note anything you want to tweak for next time.
  • Note affiliate commission payout dates- if you made some affiliate commission – great- if not- that is okay too.
  • Note the benefits you gained from participating (visibility, product sales, energy, making a difference, etc).
  • If you really enjoyed being a guest- look for other guest opportunities.

The Host perspective

As a host, I am committed to bring value, fresh ideas, and tips and techniques that people can use right away. I create huge events that reach a wide audience  with a diverse guest presenter panel and I cherish guest presenters who share the vision of helping people to truly create their own path to success. If you are extremely professional and great at what you do- you might be a perfect guest for one of my future event.

Warmest,
Coach Sheri
