Transcend Limiting Beliefs

Prosperity is available to everyone. The inner world creates the outer results. One’s energy vibration brings into reality the exact frequency of the matching vibration. If a person is engaging in low energy thoughts and actions, the yield will be a low energy result. The energy vibration is activated by thoughts and emotions. People who do not experience prosperity have not developed prosperity consciousness. Many new thought leaders and students have contributed to the body of knowledge to help people increase their energy vibrations and prosperity consciousness. Sometimes this has resulted in people feeling that they are “bad” or are “doing something wrong” and that is why they are not getting what they want. The truth is that every person has limiting beliefs that program thoughts which lead to repeated patterns of lack.

There are many ways to transcend limiting beliefs and I  believe that each individual is empowered to transcend their own limiting beliefs through connection with the Higher Self, Source, or God- Mind. Embracing the thought that Source is unlimited, Source is our supply, therefore our supply is unlimited is the key to moving from a consciousness of lack to a consciousness of prosperity. Developing a consciousness of prosperity brings forth all of our material needs and desires.

sparklesun

True prosperity is a combination of actions and choices that raise our energy vibration and increase our sense of connection with Source. Actions involve meditation, prayer, believing, giving generously, acting on intuitive guidance, positive affirmation, visualization, choosing wisely, receiving, and living in conscious awareness of thoughts.

It is possible to  quickly release limiting beliefs and through doing this people can transcend their old stories rather than stay stuck at the same static energy vibrations with minimal results. We live in a universe of possibilities, love, and abundance. It is my deepest desire to see people step out of their old stories and live with the peaceful, prosperous, and inspiring mindset of knowing that there is indeed unlimited supply.

Bring your ideas and dreams into reality

Are you able to manifest your goals? By manifesting, I mean bring your dreams and goals from the idea/thought form into the physical form. Manifesting is first, a spiritual process of being aware of who you are and your place in this universe. As you realize your oneness with the Universe and your connection to everyone and everything, you will be able to recognize your innate worthiness. When you feel worthy, you begin to believe that your good is coming to you. You exercise more control over your thoughts, which then direct your actions. Manifesting goals means more than getting what you want out of life. It means that you are in touch with your inner self, your inner thoughts, and your divine rights of prosperity and abundance.  Embrace your material desires as long as they do not become your primary focus.

Easily manifesting your goals is part of living an inspired life. I invite you to attend my free webinar- 4 Keys to Living an Inspired Life to learn more. Click Here to Register

I never knew how strong I was going to have to be

I feel like I know you- my blog readers. I have been writing here for a few years now… and  I feel like you know me, like you know my heart.  However, I started being guided to share how I became the person I am today. You may know part of the story, you may be surprised by some of it, too. We all have a journey… a story to tell. Some of us are crushed by our stories, others become stronger. In my young life,  thankfully, I never knew ahead of time exactly how strong I needed to be.

A tragedy shaped my path in life. I grew up in a small town in northern Minnesota and lived a comfortable life. My parents were conservative. My brother and I thrived at both school and athletic activities. We also were involved in our church. As a family we ate dinners together and took long walks in the woods. We were close, or so I thought.

One day, I walked home from school when I was seventeen years old and found my brother who was fifteen years old after he had taken his own life. I found him after he had shot himself in the head and he was in his room lying in a pool of blood.  My world shattered. I missed my brother and I felt my whole world was based on a lie. I felt like I did not know who I was anymore because I always identified myself through my family identity.

I drifted for several years without a clear direction. I turned down full ride scholarships so I could be closer to my parents. I took some classes at our local college. I put one foot in front of the other, but I was deeply grieving. I was in therapy for a year and it helped soothe some of the pain. In outward appearances, I seemed to be doing okay. My ambitions returned. I felt like I could maybe be okay, but I never thought I would experience true happiness again. I became involved with a much older man who struggled with alcohol addiction and stayed in that relationship for five years. Then, I met my husband. I have been married for twenty years. I became a step-mom. We gave birth to our first daughter. When I held my daughter in my arms the day she was born, I began to feel deep joy again. We had two more children and my career was thriving (I finished college, earned my master’s degree and eventually my PhD.). I felt happy when I was with people. When I was alone, I felt empty and lost. Steady happiness remained elusive. I felt guilty about it, because I had a great family and a great career- I felt like I had no excuse. I should be happy, but I wasn’t.

Then I began to spiritually awaken. I always prayed (my whole life). And I knew God was there for me, but I had fallen into the habit of praying at night, being in church on Sunday and God was out of the picture for the rest of the time. I began to see that God was there for me all of the time and I could trust God.

Success and Transformation

I have been an avid reader throughout my life and often read a book a day. I began reading holistic books centered on mind, body, and spirit. I read books on healing, success, mindset, and happiness. It was during this time that I had a paradigm shift; I was standing in the middle of an airport traveling for my job. I had my corporate credit card, my laptop in my briefcase that I was pulling along, and I looked around. I thought, “This is it. I made it. I have achieved everything I wanted.” I felt triumphant. In the next instant, I was crushed and thought, “Oh no, this is it? This is all there is?”

I thought my career would make me happy and I thought my family would make me happy. The truth is that I discovered that happiness came from within.  So I started praying and meditating on my next move. Shortly after this, I woke up one morning and had the stunning realization that I could be happy if I chose it. All I had to do was choose happiness just like all of the other choices I made in a day. I decided to choose happiness. I began a journaling practice to get myself on the happiness track every day.

I still had to decide what I wanted to do about my career. I prayed and meditated. I decided that I would lean on intuitive guidance and be patient. After a few weeks, I woke up one morning and knew I needed to start my own coaching, training, and consulting company. Within six months of starting my company, I published my first book, Keys to Living Joyfully. For twenty years I had a goal of writing a book and it was on the back burner.  Suddenly, it felt like I was an author overnight. I never had a goal to write more than one book and within four years, I had written and published three more books. All of my books felt like they wrote themselves. It was a natural intuitive process.

I began working with my own coaching clients six years ago. I have helped people define what success means to them and have been by their sides as they have made quantum leaps in their lives. My clients have written books, changed careers, saved their careers, started and/or grown businesses, produced movies, taken action on long procrastination lists, created more happiness, traveled the world, learned how to get what they really want out of life, and made lasting changes and shifts.

I expanded again when I began studying metaphysics. I learned how to develop my intuition to a very high degree. I also learned that I have been empathic my whole life and never knew what it was. I had been told that I was too sensitive during my entire childhood. I began to look at my empathic ability as a great gift and have found that it helps me be a very good life coach. All of my business decisions have been intuitively based and I found that I enjoy including guided visualizations and energetic alignments during my sessions with clients.

To me success is part of an acronym that I was divinely given called BOLD. Be a great manifestor. Own your goals/responsibility. Live each day with more peace, passion, energy, and joy. Do and be what you were meant to do and be. I was given these concepts as a divine gift during sleep. I awoke with these ideas and knew, intuitively, that they were important. I continued to develop the concepts through intuition and research.

What does it mean to live an inspired life?

What does being successful mean? We witness some people with material success living miserable lives. We witness spiritual people living lives of poverty. Yet we also witness people with material success living spiritually rich and physically healthy lives. Why do so many people live in the space of tolerating their lives rather than living fully and joyfully? How can people transcend merely tolerating life to living inspired lives?  According to Jack Canfield, “Scientists used to believe that humans responded to information flowing into the brain from the outside world.  But today they’re learning instead that we respond to what the brain, on the basis of previous experience, expects to happen next.”

As a life coach, I have talked with people who are miserable doing the work they do and they stay where they are month after month and year after year. I have talked with people who have even spent a million dollars on their education only to find that they made the wrong career choice based on what they should do instead of choosing something they love to do. I also have talked with people who have been downsized from their jobs and left to figure out what to do next, and to people who have filed bankruptcy. Often people come to me for life coaching when they experience a stressor like a divorce, a health scare, a job loss, or a general feeling of wanting something better. They want to live what I call an inspired life.

What does it mean to live an inspired life? My own quest began because of a tragic experience that I had as a teenager. I was one of those people who tolerated life, and thought I would never be happy again. However, I learned that it truly is possible to live a joy filled, meaningful, and an inspired life. Learning how to  live inspired has been part of a life-long quest of discovering success and happiness in my own life and then, in turn, allowing me to help my coaching clients do the same. I choose to live an inspired life and I assist my life coaching clients along the path to living inspired lives.

Living an inspired life begins with knowing who you are and appreciating yourself. Notice that the word wonderful is used in this scripture. “For you created in me my in most being: you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made: your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (NIV- New International Version, Psalms 139:13, 14).  You are made perfectly.  You are a miracle.

Living an inspired life begins with understanding the creative force of your mind. Your mind is powerful with unlimited potential for creation.

Living an inspired life begins with knowing your relationship with Source. You were loved from the very beginning and are deeply loved now. “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us.”  (NIV, 1 John 4:18-19).

You are already perfect love. You are one with God: affirm “I am Spirit.” (A Course in Miracles ).

Learn how to live inspired every day.

How to Achieve Long Term Success

SonjaJumpGrad

My daughter Sonja with her friends after High School Graduation- She is the one in white.

Oftentimes, when we think about success, we look at one goal at a time. For instance, a goal might be to complete a degree, finish a book, and/or landing a new job. Today, let’s look at long term, sustainable success. You can probably think about someone (maybe even yourself) who demonstrates long term success. What makes him or her special? There are a few key pieces that anyone can implement to ensure long term success.

The first key piece is having a long term success mindset. You must see yourself as a person capable of long term success. Use affirmations, visualization, and positive thinking to embrace the long term success mindset. Get a coach or join a mastermind. Everything first begins with your mindset.

The next element is consistency. If you want long term success, you must consistently perform. This means that if you have a business, you need to send out your newsletter, hold your events, and reach out to clients regularly. If you work in a job, you need to consistently complete projects on time.

Persistence is also vital to long term success. You cannot give up. You need to make up your mind that you will do and learn what it takes to achieve long term success.

You need to break out of holding patterns (get unstuck) to achieve long term success. Successful people do get stuck, but they only stay stuck for short periods of time. Take a moment to assess whether or not you are engaging in a holding pattern (avoidance, procrastinating, holding back, not being all in, etc).

If you have created a bucket list, get it out and see where you stand. Make changes and/or add to the list. Start on one item. (Learning to golf was still on my list- so I started). When I look at my bucket list, it looks like I will achieve the remaining items on my list this year. So, I will need to make a new list. I remember when I first created the list, I thought there was no way I would really do all of it. I really was stretching when I created it. I am so thankful that I stretched myself those few years ago.

And, I am 100% confident in your capability to achieve long term success through stretching yourself, too.

Warmest,

Sheri

What Happens After a Major Goal is Achieved?

Many success articles focus on helping people “get there” – you know, achieve the goal. I, too, have written many articles on how to attain goals. Most of my clients come to me because they have a goal they want to achieve and they want help making it happen. But what happens after a major goal is achieved? The logical answer is to celebrate the achievement and then focus on the next goal. And that is also good advice.

However, there is that in-between time.  After giving an almost herculean effort to achieve an important goal, there is a sense of victory, but also a sense of loss. There is even a sense of emptiness, sometimes.  I have experienced this and I see it with my clients, too. When you finish the thing that has occupied so much space in your head and your heart, there is a void.  I sometimes find myself grieving a bit, too when I finish something important.

I use to worry about this. I would think- “What is the matter with me?” I even felt guilt. I thought I should be supremely happy and when I would go through sadness after achievement, I frankly, could not understand myself.

What I have learned is that this is part of the cycle. I see it in myself and my clients. Recognizing that sadness is also a part of the goal achievement cycle helps give a person perspective.  I go through it every time I finish a project, finish a book, or any other important goal. I give myself space and time. I don’t try to talk myself out of it. I honor my feelings and allow my emotions to unfold. I am gentle with myself. I practice excellent self-care. I take baths, listen to soothing music, read books for entertainment, and doodle in my journal.

Success Depends on This

greenheartquote

What you need to almost guarantee success is burning desire. Authors W. Clement Stone and Napoleon Hill assure us that without burning desire, you will not achieve a high level of success. Burning desire is a rare thing. Most people do not dare to cultivate a burning desire for anything because the second you allow a burning desire, there a fears that get churned up. “What if I can’t do it?” or “I don’t know how to make it happen.” or “What will people think?” are some fear related thoughts that may arise for you.

Why is it important to cultivate burning desire for your goal or goals? Burning desire is what carries you through when things go wrong or very, very slow. Burning desire keeps you going. Without burning desire you could end up stopping just when things are about to break open. Burning desire assures that you will cross the finish line.

If you have a goal and you feel like you have lost that burning desire or never really had it in the first place, what do you need to do to get it?  First, look at the real reason, the real why. This is why you want the goal. What difference will your dream make in your life and the lives of others?  Next, let yourself be filled with burning desire. Think about your goals as if they are really happening. See yourself achieving each phase of the goal. What does that feel like? Be the energy of your goal. It takes some practice, but as everyone who has ever achieved worthwhile goals realizes- it is worth the effort.

If you would like some help in creating goals that ignite a burning desire within you- Click Here to book a free coaching session with me. I have a limited number of free sessions that I offer each month- so if you are excited about this- be sure to book right away.

Warmest,

Sheri
